To seek others approval where it can't be won
Reinforcing rejection and need to be shun
Belief I'm not worthy and all will be lost
Failure impending these thoughts must be tossed.
Ego the source of the fear and the doubt
Shrouding the spirit it tries to win out
Reclaiming my power, the Truth I must see
Unleash and unfurl the beautiful Me.
The fire burns brightly like moth to a flame
Attracts all the love, and now smothers the shame.
No matter who's there who says yes or says no
God's passion shall guide me wherever I go.
